Advantage Outfitters, LLC is a fast-growing vehicle upfitter, specializing in commercial equipment and accessories for cargo vans. Our customers include trade fleets, utilities, municipalities, vehicle dealers, and leasing companies. Our goal is to bring innovation, speed, and simplicity to the way upfitting is done in America.

This customer-centered vision has led the company to 16+ years of consecutive growth, constantly developing to bring the greatest value to our customers. We maintain a culture of continuous improvement, which enables our organization to bring you the capabilities and resources of a large-scale upfitter while maintaining the speed, adaptiveness, and attention to detail of a family-owned business.
Our Story
Our founder, Kevin Parker, spent much of his early career working out of the back of cargo vans himself - first in the construction industry, then in food delivery, then uniform delivery, and finally in first aid equipment service and install. These many years of firsthand experience in cargo vans drove him to look for a better solution - there must be a way that van interiors could be made safer, quieter, lighter, more ergonomic, and better organized. A review of the available upfitting options and discussions with other van operators left him convinced that the upfitting market was underserved and ready for change.
And so, in 2004, Advantage Outfitters was born in Valley Stream, NY. The company started its journey as one of Ranger Design's first partners in the United States - pairing tough, innovative products with our commitment to quality installations on time, every time. As the years have gone by, we have continually added to our product range while ensuring that we only partner with world-class manufacturers who offer innovative and proven products.
In 2012, Kevin's two sons, Brent and Rick, came into ownership of the business. Under their leadership and passion, the business continued its exponential growth, first adding additional installation and warehouse capabilities in New York. Advantage then added a New Jersey installation and distribution center, where in just three years the company has outgrown facilities four times - rapidly expanding to fill demand.
Today Advantage Outfitters is positioned as a market leader in the evolving e-commerce market for van equipment. We maintain inventories of van equipment across two regional warehouses, covering every aspect of commercial van upfitting.
