Transit 1/2" StabiliGrip Composite Floor

    • Manufactured by Legend Fleet Solutions
    • StabiliGrip is a 1/2" “composite blend”:
      • Rubberized top surface with sandpaper texture
      • TPO* cushioning layer
      • Composite core with a fiber mesh
      • TPO* bottom layer
      • *TPO is a blend of thermoplastic, rubber, & proprietary materials
    • Hard/firm floor (equivalent to that of a wood floor, with additional benefits)
    • Maximum traction, even when floor/boots are wet
    • Moisture resistant
    • Helps prevent shifting of cargo during transport
    • Dimensionally stable - will not expand/contract with temperature changes like plastic floors do
    • Rot proof - will not rot or splinter & no issues with mold
    • Chemical resistant
    • Safe for food handling
    • Decreases road noise
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy install - 130"WB is 2 pieces, 148"WB is 3 pieces, 148"WB EXT is 3 pieces
    • Existing components, ex. partition or shelving, will need to be removed and re-installed, or floor must be modified to fit around
    • If there is an existing factory vinyl mat, the mat and plastic rear sill need to be removed and discarded. The side sill may require modification to fit over the floor.
    • Seams are joined by an aluminum “H” channel; flooring is notched on the top for the channel, so that the channel is flush with the floor – a smooth seam
    • Rear and side sills highly recommended (see photos #3 and #4) - heavy-duty diamond plate aluminum
    • Floor weights - 130"WB is 111 pounds, 148"WB is 119 pounds, 148"WB EXT is 139 pounds

Install Tips!

  • Tools Required: Rubber Mallet, 1/2" or 13mm Socket (for removing/replacing factory tie downs)
  • Remove existing floor mat (if any), sills (if any), and tie down rings (may be on floor or at bottom of walls). Place the first panel on floor in front, being sure it's right side up. Tap aluminum spline into dovetail on rear of first panel. Insert the second panel into spline and tap into place. Repeat for any additional panels. Replace sills and tie down rings. That's it! "Floating" floor is retained by vehicle walls and tie down rings. Note: kit includes all necessary hardware and vehicle specific installation instructions.
  • Sill Installation (optional): Install floor. Install sills using either supplied push fasteners into factory holes or supplied screws into floor.
